The Fabrication and Paint Lead is responsible for supervising shop employees in a manufacturing environment. This position plans and assigns fabrication and paint work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in fabrication methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. They are also responsible for maintenance plans on all fabrication equipment, to increase uptime and limit scheduled downtime.
Team Lead Duties:
- Lead and oversee paint and fabrication employees on second shift.
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure production goals are met.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Monitor work for quality, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
- Communicate production updates, issues, and employee concerns to management.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
Pay: $28.00 per hour + $1.25 Shift Differential
Team Lead Requirements:
- 3–5 years of lead, supervisory, or management experience.
- Manufacturing or production leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.
