Security Officer Unarmed – Roanoke, TX

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group (Guard Division) is hiring unarmed security officers for a corporate site in Roanoke, TX.

• Monitor access control and challenge individuals without proper identification.
• Maintain the visitor management system; check visitors and guests.
• Issue badges and access cards and maintain security logs.
• Monitor CCTV system.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Check in authorized personnel onsite.
• Work a standing post for 8‑hour shifts or longer.
• Interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

2 pm – 10:30 pm / 10 pm – 6:30 am; flex to permanent.

Uniforms are provided by Metro One.

• Valid Texas Level II security license.
• Open availability.
• Service in a Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement/security (e.g., Military Police, Security Police, Corrections) or a support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations.
• Active Texas security guard license.
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field.
• Bachelor’s degree in protective services, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general discharge.
• Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service.
• 3 years of verifiable private/corporate security experience or corporate customer service.
