Responsibilities:

• Ensure spring turn-on and winterization of irrigation systems.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting throughout the year.
• Manage and install irrigation systems as needed.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment during site inspections.
• Ensure availability of tools and materials, including inventory management.
• Monitor irrigation system maintenance programs.
• Coordinate repairs with the Manager based on customer needs.
• Discuss daily tasks with the supervisor.
• Work efficiently on uneven ground using application tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. from ground to waist level.
• Bend and twist to ground level as necessary.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Inspect work to ensure standards and specifications are met.
• Assist workers to meet deadlines.
• Manage supplies and ensure tools and materials are in safe working condition.
• Complete daily paperwork such as timesheets and work orders.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills; bilingual preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude.
• Reliable attendance; ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Landscape Irrigator or current Irrigation Technician license.
• Minimum 3+ years of irrigation experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive driving required.
• Ability to work outdoors and visit job sites regularly.
• Exposure to temperature extremes from over 110°F in summer to below freezing in winter.
