Rate: $68 - $73 / hr. w2
Responsibilities- Develop solutions within Unix/Linux systems, provide support, and perform scripting and troubleshooting with tools such as Shell, Ansible, Terraform, and Cloud formation
- Engineer solutions in Windows using Power Shell, and perform automation with Python (or Perl, Java, et cetera)
- Work to uphold standards within containerized deployments in AWS
- Perform secure file transfers and adhere to best practices, protocols, and development standards
- Work across microservices architectures, event driven systems, REST APIs, and with engineers to ensure successful deployment of Dev Ops practices and CICD pipelines
- 5+ years as a software engineer or developer (Java, Spring, Angular, NodeJS, or equivalent mix of 'fullstack' tools in a Java ecosystem
- 1 year of experience with TIBCO
- 2+ years of experience with FTP (secure file transfer protocol)
- 10+ years experience in support roles (administration, systems, production support, or application support)
- Very strong skills with Linux, troubleshooting, and proficiency in scripting with either Python, Java, Chef, Puppet, or another SDK/CDK
- 3+ years experience with AWS (including but limited to either EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API gateway, Route
53, Glue, Kinesis, VPCs, and subnets) - Proven server side skills (exposure to tools such as Node Js, and ideally 5+ years with Java)
- Proven skills with React, Vuejs, or Angular
- Strong understanding of Microservices, development tools, IDE's, and the associated tools for build, deployment, release, production, testing, et cetera (Full SDLC)
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent STEM/science degree will be required
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
