DevOps, Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer Test Automation on the Wallet team, you will develop your skills and collaborate across the organization in a dynamic environment. You will work with developers and test automation engineers to promote testing practices, implement automation, and execute test suites that support a digital wallet initiative.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design, write, and maintain application features and automated tests including unit, functional, and end-to-end regression tests.
- Build scalable and maintainable automation test suites that promote software quality and defect prevention.
- Oversee quality inspections of testing and development deliverables and maintain corresponding audit artifacts.
- Author automated and manual test cases aligned to acceptance criteria in user stories.
- Log defects, coordinate prioritization, and verify fixes through reproduction and debugging.
- Facilitate reviews of test cases with the scrum team to ensure comprehensive path coverage.
- Collaborate to improve test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
- Share quality engineering expertise and mentor team members on testing and automation practices.
- 4+ years of software quality engineering and test automation experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and the software development lifecycle.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Proficiency with Playwright and Selenium for test automation.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL (Postgres), REST APIs, and AWS serverless technologies.
- Ability to shape and contribute to QA automation strategy for applications.
- Experience building and deploying with continuous integration and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with requirements analysis, defect tracking, coordination across locations, test reporting, and signoff.
- Experience working in an agile scrum environment.
- Financial services experience preferred, but not essential.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of distributed teams.
- Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with team members.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- AWS experience noted; AWS certifications are a plus.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
