Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, implement, and improve technical solutions for Gen AI, including RAG, Prompt Engineering, Fine‑Tuning, ML model deployment, data pipelines, hosting, and API development. The role requires hands‑on work developing APIs and integrating ML models while partnering with data scientists.

• Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems using ML algorithms and frameworks.
• Evaluate LLM‑generated content.
• Work with data to create models, perform statistical analysis, and train and retrain models to optimize performance.
• Run machine learning tests and experiments.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid 3+ years of hands‑on development as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Experience with Gen AI solutions with Large Language Models, Lang Graph, Lang Chain, Llama Index, Prompt Engineering, and Fine‑Tuning.
• Solid experience developing Python‑based APIs (FastAPI/Flask).
• Demonstrated work experience with AWS services: deploying models in Sage Maker, cloud‑based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS, and EC2/EKS compute set‑up.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
