Client in the Health & Welfare Domain is significantly growing to meet the needs of new clients and migration of clients from existing legacy platform. The primary areas of focus are to build net new Product capabilities in the Core Recordkeeping Platform to onboard clients as well as tools as self service capabilities for internal operations associates to service clients and scale client project automation.

The business goals of client are to meet the needs of new clients and migrate existing clients to a new platform. This includes building new product capabilities and self-service tools for internal operations associates to service clients and automate client projects. The company aims to scale their operations and improve efficiency through this project. Client is seeking the right technical talent to provide additional development capacity to the existing teams to support the emerging needs of the rapidly expanding FHB platform, clients and servicing needs.

The technical resources we are trying to hire should possess strong hands on experience in Core Java, Springboot, REST API services, business logic APIs, UI and cloud services. The developers will be responsible for understanding and asking clarifying questions on requirements from product business members, able to estimate the amount of work involved, design and develop code following best coding standards and practices, write unit test cases, build applications and deploy them in different test environments for testing & validation but Automation and Business testers.

We are looking at 6 Senior Software Engineer levels who can independently work on Feature Stories yet work in a Agile Scrum team set up as a team working towards a single goal of finishing up prioritized stories.

Skills and Knowledge:

• 1-5 years of professional software development experience in a diverse set of distributed application development and middleware technologies such REST Web Services, Java 8 capabilities (Lambda, Streams and Functional interfaces), SQL, ORM, Spring modules including IOC, Batch and Spring Boot
• 1-5 years of working experience in Java Technologies
• Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Working knowledge in Unit Testing Frameworks, OAuth2 and Security
• Experience working with cloud computing strategies and architecture (Azure, AKS, Azure Batch Manager, ADF etc) preferable.
• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 1-5+ years total Java development experience
• 1+ years of development experience using Cloud technology a plus
• Investment/financial services and/or brokerage industry experience is highly desired a plus
