Principal Full Stack Engineer

Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to play a leading role in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients. You will drive agile development for applications used by thousands of Investment Professionals to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions using a modern technology stack.

Core responsibilities and expertise required include:

8+ years of full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and web applications.
Expertise with Angular, Type Script, and core Java with Spring / Spring Boot.
Experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.).
Technical proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
CI/CD automation experience building and deploying applications using Jenkins and Git Hub pull requests/source control.
Strong background in unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
Leadership experience to guide, encourage, and motivate fellow engineers in an Agile Scrum development environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Education requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
