Preferred:

• Hands on experience working with containers (Kubernetes) and serverless applications (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3).
• Understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles with supporting skills and experience in creating scalable and reliable software systems.
• Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code -- Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation Templates.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools – Data Dog, Splunk, Jenkins, Artifactory.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core.
• Deep understanding of run time environments and common issues with using monitoring tools for Application, Service, Infrastructure and Data Quality Monitoring.
• Scripting ability in Power Shell or Bash Shell Unix Scripting.
• Database experience in DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB.
• Knowledge of basic sysadmin skills in Linux, Networking, Load Balancing.
• Experience implementing Observability (metrics-golden signals, tracing, and logging).
• Good demeanor towards solving problems skills that span systems, network, and applications.
• Strong team focus with good relationship building skills + work with broader distributed team
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Certification in public Cloud (AWS) and Kubernetes is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in Cloud development (AWS) and migration skills;
  Experience with building and operating highly resilient platforms in AWS cloud environments.

• 5-7 years of proven track record in software development with Python, NodeJS, GoLang, or Java with a focus on SDLC and automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
