Primary Function: Truck unloading
Pay: Production-based / Per Truck
Truck Rate: Based on truck weight
Freight Breakers LLC is hiring dependable, hard-working individuals for a tire warehouse operation in the Roanoke, TX area. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse position focused primarily on unloading truckloads of tires.
You'll be paid per truck unloaded - not an hourly rate. Truck pay is determined by the weight of each truck, with heavier loads receiving a higher production rate. Your earnings are based on the trucks you unload, making this a great opportunity for individuals who are motivated by production and willing to work hard.
Shift: 4:00PM-2:00AM M-F Occasional Overtime
Responsibilities- Unload truckloads of tires safely and efficiently
- Manually handle, move, and stack tires
- Maintain a consistent production pace
- Work efficiently with other team members
- Follow proper unloading and stacking procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all warehouse safety requirements
- Communicate with supervisors regarding production and workload
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong work ethic
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Able to repeatedly lift and move tires
- Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working at a fast pace
- Team-oriented attitude
- Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, or lumper experience is a plus
No previous lumper experience? That's okay - we can train the right person.
