Yournew role
As a Senior Corporate Accountant within the Corporate Advisory division, you will play a key role in the delivery of a broad range of technically challenging and commercially focused engagements. Working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners, you will take ownership of your work while also supporting and developing junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and completion of a wide range of corporate advisory and accounting engagements
- Management and financial reporting for corporate and SME clients
- Financial due diligence, business and share valuations
- Mergers and acquisitions support, including IPO and capital market engagements
- Income tax and GST compliance
- Maintenance and review of accounting records and reconciliations
- Managing budgets, turnaround times and quality standards on assigned engagements
- Reviewing work completed by graduates and undergraduates and providing constructive feedback
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients on assigned engagements

What you ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a professional accounting or advisory environment
- Strong technical skills across accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance
- Exposure to, or interest in, corporate advisory work such as due diligence, valuations and transactions
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
- The ability to manage multiple engagements autonomously while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach, with a desire to mentor and develop junior staff
