Accounting Clerk

Are you a detail-oriented and computer-savvy individual with a passion for accounting? We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! This role involves handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Process purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using a computerized system
• Maintain vendor and customer records
• Prepare financial and statistical reports using MS Excel
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments for vendors and customers
• Maintain and update asset records and assist with year-end tax forms
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and assist with cash deposits
• Perform additional administrative duties to support the efficiency of the department

• A self-starter who can follow detailed instructions and work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with accounting practices and processes, including MS Dynamics and MS Excel
• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required; additional education in accounting and 1-3 years of accounting clerical experience preferred

• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
