Employment Status:
Full time Shift: Day Facility: 1906 Belleview Ave SE - Roanoke
- Provides administrative, scheduling, and customer service support to the Police and Security Department, administrative staff, QM, and clinical staff to ensure quality, efficient, and cost‑effective services.
- Provides direction, answers questions, resolves concerns, and makes appropriate recommendations as needed for the police and security department.
- Assists with Accounts Payable and Materials Management, , and clerical processes.
- Ensures data accuracy and collaborates with system departmental representatives.
- Processes invoices, requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts for TSG and works with the finance/accounting and materials management department.
- Coordinates and facilitates search warrant and subpoena requests from external law enforcement agencies for medical records, labs, and other documentation.
- Creates and maintains shared drive folders for invoice storage, spreadsheet files, and Word documents.
- Coordinates lost‑and‑found and lost patient property items, contacts patients to return property.
- Composes and/or types correspondence.
- Provides support for written materials including material management requests, contract cover sheets, and reports.
- Keeps files and reports confidential.
- Communicates with management, clinical staff, and other internal and external customers.
- Maintains effective written and oral communications with a diverse population.
- Operates various office equipment in a normal office environment where schedule interruptions and changing workloads occur.
- Handles difficult situations with tact and diplomacy while maintaining confidentiality.
- Education:
Associate degree or equivalent, or four years of experience. - At least two years of experience in data collection and analysis and/or advanced secretarial support.
- Preferred experience in emergency services or a physician practice setting.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, spreadsheets, presentation, or database software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
