The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Resident District Manager and cover various departments throughout the unit.
Qualifications- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years related experience.
- Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Adheres to dress code and professional presentation.
- Good communication skills with co‑workers, vendors, managers, and customers.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and scheduling appointments.
- Write and enter information on computers to prepare correspondence, receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, answer telephone calls, convey messages, and run errands.
- Handle cash receipts, count, and deposit as needed.
- Assist with human resources functions, including benefit administration, personnel action forms, and payroll processing for the unit, district, and region.
- Perform general accounting duties and prepare SFE financial reports per policy.
- Operate office machines and perform routine maintenance of office equipment.
- Maintain documentation, verify information, and resolve routine problems.
- Conduct research when necessary and report findings.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and risk management policies, report accidents, and participate in safety meetings and training.
- Serve as lead unit clerk, perform advanced clerical duties by standard procedures.
- Accept other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
