We are offering a long-term contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Medical Customer Service Representative in Roanoke, Virginia. This Medical Customer Service Representative role is in the health sector and is centered around patient registration in both the Outpatient and Emergency Departments. Responsibilities:

+ Engage in patient-facing activities and provide a high level of customer service.

+ Process patient credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

+ Responsible for answering inbound calls and dealing with patient queries promptly.

+ Maintain an up-to-date record of patient credit information.

+ Perform authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions as part of the role.

+ Participate in clinical trial operations as required.

+ Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Ability to work weekends

+ Previous customer service experience

+ Basic computer skills

+ Ability to communicate and solve problems
