This opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical practice within a clinic-based, academic program, providing significant prospects in teaching, research, and clinical dentistry. The role is ideal for a professional looking to contribute to a comprehensive dental section and engage with a robust General Dental Residency program.
Practice Info
- Join a growing team of 11 dentists, 5 General Practice residents, 24 dental assistants, 5 dental hygienists, and 18 non-clinical support staff.
- The section includes full-time dental specialists in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Features a separate Family Dental Practice located in Roanoke.
- Offers advanced in-hospital dental care, including inpatient and outpatient services, and a pediatric dental program.
- Carilion's Cleft and Craniofacial Center is American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA)-approved.
- The CC-VTCSOM General Dental Residency program provides robust exposure to managing patients with special healthcare needs.
Compensation
- Starting Salary Range: $531,974 to $721,200
- Eligible to participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary
- Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary
- Sign-on bonus
- Uncapped relocation
- Student Loan Forgiveness is negotiable
- Carilion is a not-for-profit health system and eligible for participation with the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program
