Workforce Solutions Hydroponics Instructors (Part-Time)

Hiring Range: Commensurate based on qualifications
Full Time or Part Time: Part Time
Job DescriptionHydroponics Instructors will teach and demonstrate to students the fundamentals of growing plants using controlled environment technology and equipment designed for both personal and industrial application. Instructors will be responsible for teaching two levels of classes, maintaining hydroponics equipment, and ensuring plant viability.
Minimum Qualifications- 3-5 years of occupational experience in hydroponics work.
- Familiarity with multiple hydroponic systems, understanding how they are set up, and maintaining the systems.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write syllabi and exams.
- Ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
- Ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrable knowledge of hydroponic systems and plant care.
