Radiation Oncology Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)
Virginia Western, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Roanoke Valley, is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty to provide classroom instruction in our Radiation Oncology Program in the School of Health Professions. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline and in trends in community college education.
Must possess at a minimum an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Radiation Oncology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent with continuing educational compliance, and two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline. All adjunct faculty positions require excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior teaching experience, preferably in a college setting. Experience using technology in the classroom.
