Civil Engineering position in our Roanoke office.

The successful candidate will manage multiple design projects; develop project schedules and budgets; supervise design team members and provide quality assurance for meeting design criteria and regulatory requirements.
- Applicants must be proficient with civil engineering practices and methodology and have working knowledge of design plan preparation and review using industry standard software.
- Experience with local government, utility, and land development projects is highly desired but equivalent experience in other related fields will be considered. Familiarity with asset management and data analytics technology for utilities and local governments is desirable.
- Previous client and project development experience, excellent communication skills and a willingness to lead a team is highly valued.
- Additionally, the role will require assisting in the development of Statements of Qualifications (SOQ), technical proposals and presentations; and coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, government, regulatory and funding agencies.

- Experience with municipalities, utilities, land development, and related agencies is a plus. VA Registered PE or licensure in an adjacent state and the ability to obtain licensure in Virginia within 6 months is required
- BSCE from ABET accredited engineering program, MS or higher degree is certainly desirable
- Excellent engineering design and communication skills
- Minimum of 10+ yrs experience in project management and client services
- Knowledge of local design standards and regulatory agencies is a plus
