Environmental Compliance Specialist – Roanoke, VA

We’re seeking a motivated Environmental Compliance Specialist to support environmental monitoring, compliance, and sustainability initiatives at a large industrial facility. This is a hands‑on role with opportunities to contribute to community engagement and environmental improvement projects.

• Conduct environmental monitoring of emissions, effluents, and other critical parameters.
• Analyze data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement strategies that reduce environmental impact.
• Support environmental improvement and sustainability projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (other degrees considered).
• 3–5 years of experience in environmental roles at industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and monitoring equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
