Senior EMI Engineering Technician

Job Summary

Join a team building the next generation of night vision technology for military and first responder applications. The Sr. EMI Engineering Technician is responsible for testing and evaluating all ESA goggles and intensifier tube types for compliance to MIL-STD-461, supporting U.S. Government EMI testing across product lines.

• Provide technician support for U.S. Government EMI testing across product lines including BiNOD, FNVB, ENVG, and SENVG.
• Complete assignments to resolve assigned projects, including EMI testing, diagnosing required fixes, re-soldering boards, building units, testing functionality, and creating or maintaining repair documentation.
• Maintain departmental documentation, order entry, data entry, process‑improvement initiatives, and monthly reports.

• 2+ years post‑secondary education (AA–AS) or equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant technical experience.
• Soldering, electronics, and troubleshooting experience; proficiency in Excel, Word, and ESA factory programs.

• EMI testing experience.
• Familiarity with night vision equipment, image‑tube evaluation, and test experience.
• Night vision goggle assembly, build, and use of test equipment.
• Technical repair and fault analysis.
• Training/teaching experience.

• Technically capable; able to use hand tools, test equipment, and microscopes.
