- Must have ABET-accredited Engineering degree
- Supports Transmission Shared Services asset and energization review processes
- Responsible for pre- and post-energization reviews and asset verification activities
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 2+ years of related engineering experience (electrical)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience interpreting engineering prints and drawings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with:
- Power BI
- Share Point
- Ability to coordinate with field personnel and internal stakeholders
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- Utility, transmission, or substation experience
- Knowledge of IPS asset database
- Experience with asset lifecycle management
- Understanding of utility regulations and financing
- Process improvement experience
- PE License (particularly for Engineering Technology degree holders)
- Perform pre- and post-energization reviews
- Monitor Power BI reports for projects nearing energization
- Review prints, outage request data, attestation reports, and asset database information
- Verify assets are properly documented and attested prior to energization
- Monitor IPS database to ensure assets are accurately reflected as In Service after energization
- Retire and remove assets from the database when appropriate
- Coordinate with field personnel regarding asset status and removals
- Document findings and reviews within Share Point
- Support engineering analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and project compliance
