Designer 1
We have an exciting role for a Designer 1 with our client who is a leader in the Utility industry. This position is well suited for a recent graduate.
Job Duties:- Create detailed electrical system layouts, plans, material lists, and construction arrangement drawings for the build out and upkeep of utility transmission and distribution substation facilities.
- Develop design packages including general arrangement, ground grids, conduit layouts, elevation views, bill of materials, conduit schedule and equipment specifications.
- Engineer and design transmission lines that are safe, economical, and adhere to accepted engineer practices.
- Collaborate and provide technical direction to clients, peer engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Assist with scopes, estimates, schedules and proposals as necessary.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics preferred)
