To be eligible at the GS-07 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level. One year of specialized experience at the GS-06 level includes:

• Performing a variety of routine budget administration tasks
• Reviewing budget submissions for accuracy and completeness
• Preparing reports on the status of funds
• Receiving and distributing budget documents
• Providing information to managers on budget and program regulations
• Assisting in tracking and monitoring funds

The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
