Virginia Credit Union is seeking a skilled Mortgage Underwriter in Roanoke, VA to underwrite first and second mortgage loans based on agency and VACU guidelines. The successful applicant will review loan files, assess risk, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
The ideal candidate should have considerable experience with conventional and government loans, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding member service. A Bachelor's degree and experience with Automated Underwriting Systems are preferred.
