Job Description
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional care and education for hospitalized patients of all ages, including infants, toddlers, early and middle childhood, adolescent, middle adulthood, and geriatrics, as well as for out-patients referred by Western Medical Staff physicians. The Dietitian is responsible for maintaining open communication with nurses, physicians, and other health care team members regarding the nutritional concerns of patients.
The Dietitian is responsible for participating with the Director of Nutrition in the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures pertinent to clinical areas, and in providing quality patient care.
