Facility: 4444 Electric Rd - Roanoke
Responsibilities- Support training for Carilion's electronic medical record (EPIC) and other technologies used in the organization.
- Train multiple days per week and assist with material preparation, scheduling, field support, and other training tasks as needed.
- Provide COE knowledge to discussions, projects, and initiatives.
- Participate on HR project teams; may lead or co-lead projects. Monitor content and timelines to ensure deadlines and needs are met using collaborative practices.
- Focus on process improvement and proactively present solutions.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other departments and external customers/vendors; may be primary contact for vendors.
- Use data to determine trends that may result in planning for additional services or other opportunities.
- Anticipate client needs and develop collaborative solutions, evaluate outcomes, and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Produce products and services tailored to the specific needs of the situation, aligned with organizational goals/objectives.
- Serve as a culture and change management champion by educating stakeholders on issues and practices and how they align with organizational objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 3 years of general HR-related experience required. Completion of a master's degree in a related field with demonstrated relevant experience may substitute for experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines in a changing environment. Experience with EPIC EMR preferred. Experience in a hospital or physician practice setting (clinical or support staff) and familiarity with current trends in Healthcare IT preferred.
