Outpatient Therapist, Child & Adolescent Family Services

Schedule:

Mon - Fri; day shift. No weekends!

Pay:
Additional compensation commensurate with experience.

• Master's degree: $24/hour. Degree must be eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervise in Social Work.
• Licensed LPC or LCSW: $31/hour.

Therapists in our Children's Outpatient Counseling Program provide therapy to clients under the age of 18 to help them reach their treatment goals and objectives. Interventions include collaboration with family members, guardians, and others as appropriate for treatment. Therapists use many modalities including play therapy, CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF‑CBT, and Theraplay. Additionally, reoccurring training opportunities are provided by the Agency for these and other treatment modalities.

Schedule:

40 hours/week within our clinic hours (Monday‑Thursday 8:30 am‑7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm). The selected candidate will be required to work 2 late nights per week. This is an in‑person position.

Suited candidates will have past work and/or practicum/internship experience with children, adolescents and families in an outpatient therapy setting. Successful candidates must be able to think outside the box, act as a team player, be flexible, and most importantly have a good sense of humor.

  Requires a Master’s degree eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia.
• Experience counseling children and families is a plus.
• Safe Driving Record:
  Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal violations in the last five years).
• Background Check:
  Candidates who are offered a position are required to complete a background check and drug screen.
