Laundry Attendant

About the Role

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, seeks a Laundry Attendant to maintain the highest standards of linen cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active throughout a full‑time shift and plays a vital role in creating a polished guest experience.

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and bedding.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers, extractors, ironers, dryers, and folders.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring equipment and supplies are properly stored.
• Transport and lift up to 75 pounds of laundry and housekeeping supplies.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co‑workers and work independently with limited supervision.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

• Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience required; hotel experience preferred.
• Proficiency in operating commercial laundry machinery.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Capacity to work independently while staying on task.

Full‑time, on‑site in Roanoke, VA. 1st shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Weekend shift: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Five days per week with rotating days off.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour based on experience.
