Digital Content Marketing SpecialistDepartment: Corporate Marketing
Reports To: Senior Director of Marketing
Position SummaryThe Digital Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, managing, and optimizing digital content that supports brand positioning, thought leadership, demand generation, and sales enablement for a high-voltage transformer and power-infrastructure manufacturer.
This role translates complex technical solutions (grid modernization, data centers, renewables, utility infrastructure, and industrial power systems) into compelling digital content that educates the market, builds trust with engineers and decision-makers, and supports the buyer journey across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
The role blends content strategy, content mapping, SEO, digital publishing, and performance analytics to ensure content drives measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a content strategy aligned to business priorities
, vertical markets (utilities, data centers, renewables, industrials), and buyer personas (engineers, EPCs, utilities, developers, procurement, executives). - Build and manage content maps aligned to the buyer journey (awareness → consideration → decision) and sales funnel stages.
- Identify content gaps based on market needs, competitive positioning, product roadmaps, and sales feedback.
- Partner with Industry Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Leadership to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Create and manage high-quality digital content including:
- Website copy, landing pages, and solution pages
- Blogs, articles, and thought leadership
- Case studies and customer success stories
- Whitepapers, eBooks, and technical briefs
- Email campaigns and nurture streams
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, value-driven messaging.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging architecture across all channels.
- Publish and manage content in CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press, Sitecore, Hub Spot, etc.).
- Optimize content for SEO, search intent, and discoverability.
- Collaborate with web, design, and marketing operations teams to ensure content is visually compelling, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Track and analyze content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hub Spot, Salesforce, Bright Edge, or similar.
- Measure impact on traffic, engagement, lead quality, pipeline influence, and conversion.
