Epic Application Analyst III – IP Orders Analyst
Job OverviewStrong Epic Orders analyst skills, ASAP certification also desired. Must already be Epic certified/accredited. Candidates residing in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia may be considered for a remote and/or hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities- Conduct advanced analysis of Epic application design, including planning implementations and maximizing application benefits; mentor teammates in issue resolution, tracking, and communication to peers, leadership, and clients.
- Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines.
- Execute highly complex work unsupervised with extensive independent judgment.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Plan and conduct requirements gathering for Epic projects and requests; coordinate, plan, and conduct detailed design sessions based on client/business needs and application functionality.
- Coordinate, plan, and conduct analysis of client business needs.
- Develop reference materials (status reports, documentation, knowledge transfer, etc.) for supported applications (Epic and non‑Epic) and related technologies.
- Serve as a liaison between Epic modules.
- Serve as a professional and technical mentor to teammates.
- Recognize as a subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor.
- Advocate for department initiatives and processes, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Adhere to the application change management process, reporting all pertinent change information, facilitating discussions, communications, contingency planning, support of the change event, and post‑change reporting.
Education: Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of related experience.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Must obtain and maintain a minimum of three vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management, following a primary Epic support application proficiency path. Must maintain a certification/proficiency in applicable Epic module(s).

Primary schedule Monday‑Friday, standard business hours with flexibility for after‑hours on‑call rotation and occasional travel.
