Paralegal – Fairfax

Livesay & Myers, P.C., a well-established and growing family law firm with offices throughout Northern Virginia, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Paralegal to join our team in Fairfax, VA. Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
• Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
• Conduct legal research and compile information relevant to active cases.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.
• Track deadlines, manage calendars, and maintain case schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred.
• Prior family law experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
