Position OverviewAK Power Solutions is seeking a high-impact Business Manager to drive operational performance, financial discipline, and cross-functional execution within a rapidly growing power electronics and energy solutions organization.
This role serves as the operational backbone of the business — translating strategy into execution across sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. The Business Manager will own business rhythm, KPI tracking, margin performance, forecasting accuracy, and process optimization to ensure scalable, profitable growth.
This is a hands‑on leadership role within a fast‑paced, execution‑oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities Business Operations & Execution- Drive daily and weekly business cadence (revenue, bookings, backlog, margin, delivery performance).
- Monitor KPIs across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.
- Partner with functional leaders to ensure alignment to revenue and delivery targets.
- Support full P&L visibility including revenue forecasting, cost control, and gross margin analysis.
- Partner with Finance on monthly reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Improve pricing discipline and cost tracking on engineered‑to‑order projects.
- Drive working capital optimization (inventory, AR, AP coordination).
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership on pipeline visibility and conversion metrics.
- Ensure accurate demand planning tied to bookings.
- Support proposal review process to ensure margin targets are met.
- Improve CRM discipline and reporting transparency.
- Standardize operational workflows across departments.
- Lead implementation or optimization of ERP / CRM tools.
- Develop dashboards and executive reporting tools.
- Act as connective tissue between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance.
- Lead cross-functional problem‑solving initiatives.
- Support leadership team in strategic planning and execution tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–15+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, power electronics, energy, or engineered products environments.
- Strong financial acumen with exposure to P&L management.
- Experience in low-volume, high-mix or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational discipline.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills; ERP/CRM experience required.
- Highly execution-oriented and detail-driven.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, growth‑stage environments.
- Strong communicator capable of influencing senior leadership.
- Analytical thinker with bias toward action.
- Hands‑on operator, not purely strategic.
