This position offers the opportunity to lead complex, medium- to large-scale projects while collaborating with architects, engineers, interior designers, and planners in a multidisciplinary environment.
This opportunity is ideal for an advanced project management professional who excels at leading complex projects, developing trusted client relationships, and guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business and technical judgment, confidently manages project scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and serves as a trusted resource to clients and project teams while
contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect preferred.
- Advanced experience independently managing complex architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Experience leading medium- to large-scale projects within senior living, healthcare, education, government, or other institutional markets.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methods, construction documentation, construction administration, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, financial performance, and overall project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of AIA agreements, contract negotiations, additional services, and project risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Newforma, and CRM software.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop early career and experienced professionals.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically in support of project assignments, client meetings, site visits, and collaboration across SFCS offices.
- Lead complex projects through all phases of planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
- Provide overall project leadership and accountability for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, and successful project delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, developing strong relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, establishing clear expectations and promoting accountability and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, work plans, and deliverables, proactively addressing challenges that may impact project performance.
- Manage AIA agreements and contract administration, including scope development, fee negotiations, additional services, and changes in project scope.
- Monitor project financial performance and work with firm leadership to proactively address budget, staffing, schedule, and resource considerations.
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate strategies to address challenges before they impact project delivery, client relationships, or financial performance.
- Collaborate with Project Architects, Design Architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and successful project outcomes.
