About the PositionAs a Parts Manager
, you will play a key leadership role in supporting Honey Car’s service and sales operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and professional parts support. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the Parts Department, managing inventory, leading the parts team, working with vendors, and ensuring internal technicians and customers receive the right parts at the right time.
This role requires strong leadership, organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. You’ll work closely with the service and management teams to keep repairs moving efficiently, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure the Parts Department operates at a high level.
ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the Parts Department team
Oversee the parts sales process from inquiry to fulfillment
Ensure internal service technicians and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner
Accurately read and interpret parts catalogs and manufacturer systems
Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and proper documentation
Monitor inventory levels and minimize unnecessary or obsolete inventory
Review service and body shop estimates to verify correct parts and pricing
Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to repair orders
Monitor Parts Department performance, profitability, and expenses
Work closely with Service and Sales leadership to keep dealership operations running efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Parts Department
Provide ongoing training and support to Parts Department employees

Opportunities for growth within Honey Car
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous automotive dealership Parts experience preferred
Previous Parts Department leadership or management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory, and dealership operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret technical and safety documents
Basic math skills, including pricing, percentages, and discounts
Computer and automotive dealership software experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Day shift
5-day work week
Off Sundays
