We are seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our client – a leader in the beauty and personal care industry. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of production and facility equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports daily plant operations by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance.
Duties- Troubleshoot and repair filling and packaging equipment including motors, pumps, conveyors, ovens, heat shrink machines, and pneumatic systems
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on 120
VAC, 480
VAC, 24
VDC, 3-phase systems, VFDs, DC drives, and basic instrumentation - Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components, wiring, and controls
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, PLC diagrams, and technical drawings
- Provide basic PLC and controls troubleshooting support
- Maintain facility systems such as compressed air, water, drains, doors, docks, and general building infrastructure
- Perform basic pipe fitting and mechanical installation as needed
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, arc-flash protection, and PPE requirements
- Document work orders, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS/ERP systems
- Coordinate with outside contractors and internal teams
- Support continuous improvement, safety, and 5S initiatives
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–7+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Experience using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, meggers, etc.)
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and CMMS systems)
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as needed
