Overview
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in the plant. Other duties as assigned.
ScheduleFULL TIME 12 HOUR SHIFTS 2-2-3 SCHEDULE
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE UP TO $35/HR
AVERAGE 14 DAYS OFF EACH MONTH
Essential Duties- EXENDED WEEKENDS OFF EVERY OTHER WEEK
- Inspects and tests machinery and equipment, and follows all preventative maintenance schedules.
- Discusses any problems with the machinery or equipment with managers/supervisors.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment. Installs new or repaired parts.
- Follows all safety procedures and policies. Must be able to operate with a respirator on and maintain cleanliness of all safety equipment.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical equipment.
- Designs, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic.
- Ability to react to basic system alarms and reset as necessary.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively in close proximity with co-workers to inform them of work-related problems, production updates, and to plan, organize, and complete job tasks.
- Physically move carts, pallets, and toolboxes from one area to another in order to perform necessary repairs or replacement of parts.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Agility in multitasking in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules preventing on-the-job injuries by maintaining a clean safe operation and work area.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Understand and support the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems.
- Support continual improvement initiatives.
- Support JSOX compliance.
- Overtime as required to meet customer demands.
- Other duties as assigned.
1 year certificate from a college or technical school; or 3
You Should Be Proficient In- PLC Troubleshooting Skills
- Equipment Troubleshooting
- Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Hydraulics Experience
- Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
- PLC Programming Experience
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Omron, Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Beckoff, Modicon, B&R Industrial Automation, Sigmatek)
- Servo Motors
