Do you excel at orchestrating people, schedules, and equipment to hit ambitious goals? In this role, you’ll manage plant operations in partnership with the Assistant Plant Manager—owning safe, timely, and cost-efficient output; material and inventory coordination; production scheduling; and continuous process optimization that supports the business plan and complies with all legal requirements. You’ll develop technical capability and standard work across the team and align closely with Management and Accounting to build and adhere to operating budgets.

Do you maintain fluency in BRC Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP principles, and BRC Standards?
Can you ensure the environmental management system meets ISO 14001 requirements and report performance to leadership?
Qualifications you’ll need to succeed
Associate/Technical degree in a related field and five years of management experience in high-volume manufacturing (can/end manufacturing preferred) covering hiring, reviews, coaching, training, and development; or substantial related experience.
Demonstrated leadership in high-throughput, tight-tolerance operations and complex problem-solving.
Clear communicator up, down, and across the organization; strong relationship builder.
Systems thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred: working knowledge of OSHA, ISO, HACCP, and/or GMP.Comfort with statistics and quality metrics.
Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, Visio, SAP, and similar tools.
Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
Understanding of environmental regulations relevant to the operation.
Where and how you’ll work
You’ll operate from an office located on the production floor. Expect very loud conditions outside the office; hearing protection and assigned PPE are mandatory. Temperatures may vary from extreme cold (90 degrees). The air may contain fumes, dust, and odors. You’ll regularly use a computer, cellphone, and other office equipment.
Physical aspects include standing, walking, manual dexterity, talking, and hearing on a regular basis; frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting and moving up to 20 pounds; and using close and distance vision with color recognition.

Compensation
