Maintenance Technician II
The Maintenance Technician II will assume advanced tasks relating to the production machines and will troubleshoot when necessary. This position is responsible for analyzing equipment to troubleshoot problems and making any necessary repairs. This individual is encouraged to develop daily goals/strategies and ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently.
Your schedule and paySunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am, OT as required. $29.00-$35.00/hr
Highlights of your role- Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs as well as train others in machine repairs.
- Set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment-using specialty tools-and make decisions on most effective repair of equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and light repairs on production equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform daily housekeeping in work areas.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and email end-of-shift reports daily.
- Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe.
- Interpret blueprints and part drawing to perform maintenance tasks.
- Must have basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Recommended 2 year degree from college or technical school or 1 to 3 years related work experience and/or training.
- Computer
Skills:
knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software (7i), Spreadsheet Software (Excel), and business correspondence using the internet, Microsoft Outlook and Word.
