Location: Roanoke, VA
Schedule: Full-Time, 12-hour rotating schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Must be available to work weekends and some holidays as needed.

What You’ll DoAs a Mill Operator
, you’ll play a key role in operating and maintaining flour mill production processes while supporting food safety, product quality, and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating flour transfers according to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Performing quality analyses, food safety checks, sampling, and testing of wheat and water.
- Assisting the Head Miller/Shift Miller with daily mill operations, process adjustments, and mill changes.
- Performing routine maintenance and assisting with equipment repairs.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment through sanitation and SOP compliance.
- Monitoring and adjusting wheat cleaning and tempering processes to meet production specifications.
- Assisting in the training of Mill Utility personnel.
- Performing the duties of the Head Miller/Shift Miller during their absence.
- Following all GMP, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, and company food safety and safety requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of flour milling, food production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform work while wearing a respirator.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of process flow and manufacturing operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and other computer software.
