About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Production Line Supervisor to oversee a key production line at their facility in East London . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality output of the assigned production line. You will be responsible for leading a team of production operators, managing daily operations, and implementing process improvements to meet production targets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production supervision, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a productive and safe working environment, contributing to the company's reputation for operational excellence in the manufacturing sector.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a production line team, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor production performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or inefficiencies to meet output goals.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to production operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Manage the flow of materials and resources required for the production line.
- Conduct regular performance checks and provide feedback to team members.
- Proven experience as a Production Line Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) or similar production tracking tools.
- A technical qualification or relevant experience is highly valued.
