Production Assemblers - 1st shift - Cloverdale, VA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00a-4:30p
Type: Contract to Perm
Pay: $20.50/hr
Location: Cloverdale, VA 24077

Lingo Staffing is hiring Production Assemblers for a manufacturing partner in Cloverdale.
This is an excellent opportunity for Assembly and Production professionals to work in a fast-paced, temporary to hire role with an established manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:- The industrial mechanical assemblers will be responsible for assembling axles for tractor trailers in a production based environment.
- Fit and assemble metal components using blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Maintain productivity and safety standards in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have experience in using hand/power tools
- Heavy lifting - 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to assemble axles according to a spec sheet / diagrams and written instructions
- Must be able to work safely in a production (fast paced) environment
- Basic math skills
- Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production setting
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Candidates may be asked to complete client-specific screenings, such as background checks or drug testing.
