Content Creation Intern

We are looking for a creative and detail-focused Content Creation Intern to work alongside our Marketing Coordinator during the  season. This role offers hands-on experience in professional sports, digital content creation and assisting with game-day operations and fan engagement. This is an unpaid internship with an expected start date of October 16, 2026.

• Capture engaging vertical photo and video content before, during, and after games.
• Create content optimized for social media platforms, including Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, Facebook, and X (Twitter)
• Assist with the execution of fan experiences, including the Benchwarmer Experience and Locker Room Tours.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas that increase fan engagement and showcase the Rail Yard Dawgs brand.
• Assist with other game day responsibilities as needed (e.g., giveaways, fan interactions, supporting promo teams)

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with social media platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and X.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and digital content creation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, live event environment.
• Positive, professional attitude and team-first mentality.
• Available for a minimum of 20 home games, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of hockey is a plus, but not required.

• Experience creating short-form, vertical content for social media.
• Have experience covering live sports or events.
