Roanoke, VA
Become part of a premier interventional pain management practice serving the Roanoke, Virginia region. Our team specializes in cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques and holistic approaches to relieve chronic and acute pain conditions. We are actively recruiting a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to strengthen our outpatient clinic. In this collaborative role, you will partner with supervising physicians to provide exceptional, compassionate care focused on detailed evaluations, optimized medication regimens, and targeted interventional procedures.

Position Highlights- Immediate full-time opening – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Manage an average of 25 patients daily
- Perform select procedures (primarily intrathecal pump refills)
- Emphasis on follow-up visits and comprehensive medication management
- $1,500 CME allowance per year + 3 paid CME days
- Complete benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more
- Quarterly bonus in addition to competitive base pay
- Salary range: $125,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
Working under physician supervision, the Nurse Practitioner will:
- Collect comprehensive patient histories and conduct focused physical assessments
- Perform autonomous follow-up appointments in line with practice protocols
- Ensure precise documentation and real-time verification of patient information
- Review and interpret diagnostic studies to inform ongoing treatment decisions
- Create and update individualized treatment plans with recommended therapies and regular outcome evaluations
- Deliver patient-centered education, support, and counseling to promote self-management and treatment adherence
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia (or pending licensure)
- Active Virginia DEA registration and NPI number (or ability to obtain)
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and CPR
- Excellent clinical assessment abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Proven capacity to excel in a busy, dynamic clinical setting with superior organization and multitasking
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic health record platforms
- Both new graduates and seasoned Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply
