What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive care to neuro oncology patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Split time between hospital rounding and clinic visits, offering continuity of care throughout the patient journey. Dedicate approximately 80% of your time to direct clinical care. Spend 20% of your time as a Service Line Coordinator, helping develop and grow a new neuro oncology program.
Responsibilities- Direct clinical care for neuro oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Coordinate service line development, including program growth and documentation.
- Maintain patient continuity of care across hospital and clinic settings.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with current state licensure and DEA license.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience in oncology preferred, but not required.
- Certified in AHA BLS‑HCP;
Advanced Life Support certification preferred. - Eligibility for prescriptive authority in Virginia.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including electronic medical records.
Monday–Friday, day shift. No weekends and no holidays.
