Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Crisis Receiving Center ($3000 Sign-on Bonus)

• $3000 Sign-on Bonus
• Starting Pay Rate:
  • $24.40/hour for Full time. Additional compensation commensurate experience.
• Schedule:
  
  This position will include various shifts, including possible holidays, weekends, and a rotational on-call schedule with other team members.
  • Full time: 36 hours - three 12-hour shifts per week
• Evening/weekend hours are eligible for 11% shift differential.

Crisis Receiving Center at Hollins:
Nurses will have the opportunity to work in all units at the CRC. CSU:
Registered Nurses in our Crisis Stabilization Unit provide psychiatric nursing and medical detoxification to individuals in a short-term residential and therapeutic environment. 23-Hour:
The program is open 24/7 for anyone voluntarily seeking support for mental health emergency or crisis. They can stay at the center for up to 23 hours, where they will get support from trained professionals. The goal is to keep beds available at hospitals and provide an alternative place for someone to stay in a crisis.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties include:

• Obtaining and interpreting vital signs and weight
• Drawing and running labs and monitoring lab results
• Administering oral (PO), subcutaneous (SubQ), and/or intramuscular (IM) medications
• Educating clients regarding psychotropic/medical medication side-effects and health and wellness topics
• Initiating or responding to phone contacts with clients, medical providers, pharmacists, case managers and other providers, as appropriate, regarding medication needs, lab reports, side effects, etc.
• Documenting all pertinent nursing assessments or notes in the electronic health record, and accurately documenting medication orders and administration
• Documenting services

  Certifications:
  
  Must have an active, unrestricted license as an LPN.
• One Year of Experience providing medication management is required. Psychiatric nursing experience is a plus!
• Background Check:
  Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.

• Sign-on Bonus:
  New Hires and rehires are eligible for a $3000 sign on bonus: $1,500 paid on the first pay check and $1500 paid on the second paycheck. Current employees are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
