Part-time Plasma Center Technician

Job Description

This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week—designed to fit your life. We’ll confirm your availability and shift days and times early in the interview process, and we’ll keep you informed about any schedule changes in advance.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support for plasma center operations.

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their safety and experience.
• Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical strength to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
  1) with 90% of tasks requiring prolonged glove wear.
• One or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00

The starting hourly wage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
