Role Overview
The RN Trauma Educator is responsible for enhancing trauma care by developing and delivering evidence-based education, assessments, and training for healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan trauma competencies for staff across all trauma-related departments.
- Design and implement education programs with measurable outcomes.
- Monitor clinical practice to ensure adherence to trauma standards and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices and reduce risks.
- Coordinate trauma education activities, competency validations, and outreach efforts.
- Represent the trauma program through community outreach, presentations, and partnerships.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree.
- Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC obtained within 30 days of employment.
Strong assessment, collaboration, and educational program development skills, with a focus on improving trauma patient outcomes.
