As a Cardiovascular Surgical Services RN
, youll provide top-tier, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing advanced cardiac and vascular procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering individualized care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct age-specific patient assessments upon admission and throughout the care process to guide individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and patient families to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans.
- Continuously assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients of all ages.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately and document all care using EPIC
, the hospitals electronic medical record system. - Apply strong critical thinking and delegation skills to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.
- Maintain a collaborative and supportive work environment focused on quality and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (eligible to sit for VA licensure exam).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
- CPR certification required
; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as needed. - Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
- Completion of all orientation, competency, and essential job requirements.
- Competitive Pay Range: $30.47 $ 45.71/hour (based on experience)
