Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Urogynecology
Carilion Clinic is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Urogynecology practice in Roanoke, Virginia.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is interested in developing or continuing a career in Urogynecology. You will join a collaborative team and have the opportunity to manage your own patient population while maintaining access to physician support and specialty resources.
The APP will practice with a high level of independence, evaluating and managing patients with a variety of urogynecologic and pelvic floor conditions. The provider will see both new patients and established follow-up patients and play an important role in providing continuity of care.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently evaluate and manage new and established Urogynecology patients
- Obtain comprehensive histories and perform appropriate physical examinations
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for common urogynecologic conditions
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Provide pre- and postoperative care as appropriate
- Perform office-based procedures based on training, experience, and scope of practice
- Collaborate with Urogynecology physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
- Coordinate care with pelvic floor therapy and other specialties as needed.
This is a full-time, outpatient position offering a schedule designed to support work-life balance.

- No weekends
- Based exclusively at the Urogynecology – Roanoke office
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible for Virginia licensure
- Appropriate national certification
- Ability and confidence to evaluate and manage patients independently
- Excellent clinical, communication, and patient education skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Previous experience in Urogynecology, Urology, Gynecology, or Women's Health is preferred
